The Azalea City (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated honors the life and legacy of Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., a fearless civil rights champion, founder of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and pioneering political figure who passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 84.

Rev. Jackson devoted his life to advancing justice, equality, and human rights, helping to shape a global movement rooted in dignity and opportunity for all. From his historic presidential campaigns in the 1980s to his relentless efforts to mobilize millions of voters and empower underserved communities, he stood as a powerful voice for those too often unheard. His courage, vision, and unwavering commitment to freedom leave a lasting imprint on our nation and the world.

We extend our deepest respect and gratitude for his extraordinary leadership and lifelong service.

November is Friendship Month in The Links, Incorporated, and our Azalea City (GA) Chapter was honored to celebrate the power of true friendship. 💚✨

We recently hosted a fun and joy filled gathering for our Alumna members, creating space to reconnect, reminisce, and make new memories together.

From laughter and storytelling to warm hugs and heartfelt conversations, this special occasion reminded us how meaningful these friendships are in every season of life.

Our Alumna members are the foundation of our chapter, and it was a gift to slow down and simply enjoy their presence, wisdom, and love.

As we celebrate Friendship Month, we honor the links that bind us, the love we share, and the legacy we continue to build together.

Here's to friendship, fellowship, and many more moments like this with our Azalea City (GA) Chapter sisters. 💚

November 16th is National Donor Sabbath Sunday.

The Links, Incorporated’s Linkages to Life National Signature Program aims to reduce health disparities in sickle cell treatment and organ and tissue transplantation in the African American Community and other communities of African descent.

On average, African American/Black candidates wait longer than persons of other races and ethnicities for kidney, heart, and lung transplants. On this National Donor Sabbath Sunday, we want you to spread the word about organ, eye and tissue donation.

Did you know? One organ, eye and tissue donor can save 8 lives, give sight to 2 people, and heal up to 75 people.

You can register to be a donor at RegisterMe.org and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
